Right Environment

The Purpose of the "Right Environment" is to facilitate the achievement of your goals.

It does so by providing a private, temperature-controlled, quiet, distraction-free place where you can focus solely on your purpose; stimulating your body to change.

  Privacy

Doing the hard work of changing the body is not a pretty sight and thus is not a "social" activity. Having people around inhibits your efforts and can serve as a distraction, however enjoyable that distraction may be! As I've stated before, if you like dressing up in outfits, seeing others, and being seen by others, there are plenty of other places you can go to.

Temperature-controlled

"I like to work-up a good sweat. Makes me feel like I've done something." is what I hear a lot. The fact is that sweating is only an indication that your body is overheating, much like a car radiator does before you have to turn the car off. By keeping the studio as cool as     possible, your body is allowed to perform to its maximum without the limiting factor of the heat being generated by the work performed. You are allowed to work harder by not sweating.

  Quite

Other than the "white noise" of the fans, there are no other sounds in the work area of the studio. This allows for total (what I like to call meditative) focus on the targeted muscle groups for each exercise. The objective is to be in total "command and control" of your mind and body.

  Distraction-free

With all the above in place, there are no distractions from the purpose. You "take care of business" and carry on with the rest of your day.

The Right Equipment

The Purpose of The Right Equipment is to allow you to work your body as effectively as possible.

That means that the equipment should provide feature correct cam profiles that vary resistance in accord with the strength curves of the muscles being worked. They should be as friction-free as possible and allow easy ingress, egress, and positioning.

The equipment I have in the studio meet those requirements and allow for safe efficient, effective muscle inroading in accordance with muscle and joint functioning.

The Right Protocol

The Purpose the The Right Protocol is to allow you to safely, efficiently, and effectively stimulate the body to change.

I use an exercise protocol that requires very slow movement of the resistance being lifted. The time taken for each repetition is approximately 20-seconds, but could be longer or shorter. This slow movement provides continuous tension to the targeted musculature, safely and efficiently fatiguing it until reaching momentary failure. In other words, you just can't move it! But it is more than just "moving slowly." So much more than I'm willing to type on this page!

The protocol is a skill learned over time and will leave you thoroughly worked with just about 12 minutes of work performed.
